Check out these reviews from some of our members in their own words: we think they say it best!
"The intimidation and hesitation has been overshadowed by the confidence, endurance, strength and flexibility I've gained since joining. What I find most rewarding about joining CrossFit is the bond and community in our gym." -Brenda
"I keep coming to the gym because the people are awesome and I know that I am getting a good workout. I am constantly learning new things and getting at things that I never thought I could do." -Jessica
"SWCF is made up of everyday people that come to achieve their fitness goals with a great community of friends. I have been to other gyms/boxes and no other gym compares." -Chris
"This place is awesome. It's a perfect gym if you want active, helpful coaching that pushes you but doesn't get you injured. Also family friendly! I've seen significant results and love the community at this gym." -Scott
What is CrossFit?
CrossFit is the principal strength and conditioning program for many police academies, tactical operations teams, military special operations units, champion martial artists and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes worldwide.
Our program delivers a fitness that is—by design—broad, general and inclusive. Our specialty is not specializing. Combat, survival, many sports and life in general reward this kind of fitness and, on average, punish the specialist.
The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability, making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. We’ve used our same routines for elderly individuals with heart disease and cage fighters one month out from televised bouts. We scale load and intensity. What we don’t do is change programs.
The needs of everyone one from Olympic athletes to our grandparents differ by degree, not kind. Terrorist hunters, skiers, mountain bike riders and housewives alike have found their best fitness from the same regimen.
